Unaccompanied Minors was financed by Warner Bros and Village Roadshow for $25m and WB distributed in the US and opened the film in 2,775 theaters to a poor $5,815,474. Unaccompanied Minors declined a modest 39% in its second frame to $3,545,352 but lost most of its audience in its third weekend to Night at the Museum and it fell 75.4% to $873,466 and closed its run with $16,665,224. Warner Bros would see back $9.1m after theaters take their percentage of the gross, far below their P&A spend and budget. Australia based Village Roadshow distributed in their home country to a poor $157,668 and it quickly closed with $521,017. Overseas, Unaccompanied Minors saw a small release and pulled in $5.2m with $2,102,515 coming from the UK.
