Turning to kickstarter, he raised $446,907 toward a marketing spend to help pad what will be more lost money on his dream project. The film was booked in 242 locations to a dead on arrival $461,179 with a $1,906 per screen average that would nix an expansion. Atlas Shrugged Part III: Who Is John Galt? sank 71.3% the following weekend to $132,412 and closed its brief theatrical run after just three weeks with $846,704. With major chains like Regal Cinema only paying out 34% of the ticket price to small distributors, or in this case, self distributed — Aglialoro saw about $300k in returns. FOX distributed on home video and sales have brought in about $1.3 million (less after resellers take their cut and manufacturing costs).
