WHAT’S THE WORST THAT COULD HAPPEN?

  • John

What about Head Over Heels, Out Cold and Ali?

    • BoxOfficeFlops

Still working on 2001 titles. Ali will be added. Out Cold cost just $11 million (not the inflated mojo budget of $24m). Yea, Head Over Heels was a dud and will get to it shortly.

  • John

    A few others to consider:
    Sugar and Spice
    Pootie Tang
    Crazy/Beautiful
    Tailor of Panama
    Bones

Also, is 2001 as far as you’ll go back or will you do 2000 and some of the 90s as well?

    • BoxOfficeFlops

I’ll keep expanding and adding years. As well as additional movies that were skipped from 2015 - 2002.

Also, keep in mind that many/most of the budgets posted in 2001 on mojo are crazy inflated. Sugar and Spice cost only $11 million for example.

      • John

Plus home video probably allowed it to break even because the market was still in its buisness

The Curse of the Jade Scorpion

    • BoxOfficeFlops

The budget was not disclosed and the $33 million from mojo is inflated like most of the early 2000 budgets posted on that site. After it pulled in almost identical numbers as Bubble Boy that weekend Variety wrote that Jade Scorpion would reach profit even with a single digits gross, but the $13m budgeted Bubble Boy would not.
