As much as I love “Tron: Legacy”, it was a flop, for all intents and purposes. It had a $170 production budget and earned 172M in America (which means that the production company probably got about 50% of that), and 228M in other countries, so it might have broken even, except I distinctly remember Disney marketing the poop out of that thing, like it was the next “Star Wars”. Considering those marketing costs, which were 150M from what sources I could find, I think that it’s safe to say that it lost money.
